A NEW INITIATIVE
Anyone can experience food insecurity, with food and hygiene costs at an all-time high, households of all income levels are feeling it. Neighbors that visit our facility and our mobile unit come from all backgrounds. For families in rural areas, access to healthy food and personal hygiene products may be limited. Hosting a food and hygiene drives allows communities the opportunity to support Neighbor to Neighbor Abilene in helping to bridge the gap in our rural area. Neighbor to Neighbor Abilene partners with other nonprofits, food banks, schools and other organizations that provide services to our neighbors to combat the limitations and struggles members of our communities are feeling, Our Mobile unit allows us to provide the essentials to promote healthy living while building connections with our rural community members.
